Simple Elegance in Cake Design with TEA!

Today I visited my friend Dane for tea at his new shop!  He is a talented cake baker and designer here in Las Vegas and owns Simple Elegance in Cake Design.  He will be serving afternoon tea here pretty soon.  I can’t wait!

Las Vegas Happy Hour

Who doesn’t love Happy Hour?!  We get the same food and drinks for half the cost!
I’ve always had trouble locating restaurants that offer happy hour online. While doing my research, I’ve noticed that many restaurants don’t advertise their happy hour information on their websites (I’m sure their servers are happy about that!).
Anyway, I was able [...]

The Bootlegger Bistro

I love the Bootlegger.  This used to be my hangout every Monday night when Kelly Clinton hosted the celebrity karaoke evening.  Local entertainers and singers would come by to a packed house to sing from 9 pm until 1 am.  You’d have to get there early to get a spot on the stage.   It was [...]

Gelato Cafe: Gelato Bar at Weddings and Special Events

May I give them a three thumbs UP?
At a recent wedding, we hired Gelato Cafe to provide a portable gelato bar.  The two gentlemen who showed up were the most cordial and friendly guys I’ve ever worked with and one had the business card with the word “CEO” on it.  So he’s a boss and [...]

Wedding Ice Luge

This is the double ice luge from yesterday’s wedding by Ice Occasions.  The Greek letters represent the bride’s sorority and groom’s fraternity.  The bride’s favorite drink is a Shirley Temple so one of the cocktails was a Spiked Shirley Temple. The other drink was a Long Island Iced Tea for the groom’s favorite drink.
