Raku – Japanese Grill
I’ve been dying to try Raku for a awhile now. Tonight we went with another couple and had a great time! I love that the restaurant is open until 3 am everyday (closed Sundays)!
The only drawback was that the restaurant is so tiny that the temperature felt like it was about 100 degrees in there! It’s worth it though.
We tried a blue fin tuna hot pot that was on their blackboard special as well as the chicken hot pot. The blue fin tuna hot pot was definitely much tastier than the chicken. The best dish was the homemade agedashi tofu. It even converted my husband who’s not a big tofu fan ! But the snob will only eat it here for now.
We also tried a few robata items such as the kobe beef, salmon, asparagus, and the corn and potato.
I’m already thinking of a day to go back but maybe when the weather cools down about 20 degrees!
